We are also offering up to $40,000 in financial support to become a nurse.

The ACE Nursing Model of Care utilizes more Patient Care Technicians to perform duties that do not require a nursing license, allowing licensed nurses to focus on advanced skills. Job Description:

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs a variety of advanced patient care duties, maintaining a safe and effective environment, and providing care suitable for the patient's age group. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing enhanced patient care, including dressing care, suctioning, Foley catheter removal, and IV management
2. Performing venipunctures and skin punctures for blood samples
3. Handling breast milk, infant, and pediatric formulas
4. Documenting patient information accurately
5. Monitoring and reporting patient condition changes
6. Maintaining specimen integrity and transporting specimens
7. Assisting with activities of daily living and patient safety
8. Performing point of care testing and equipment maintenance
9. Mentoring new staff and students
10. Handling clerical duties, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
11. Coordinating transportation and communication of tests and specimens
12. Ordering supplies and communicating with food services
13. Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues
14. Transporting medications and blood products as needed
15. Participating in discharge follow-ups and quality rounds

Work is performed in a clinical environment. All job obligations and policies must be followed. Additional department-specific skills may be required.

• Danville: Full-Time, Day/Evening Rotation (7am-7:30pm and 11am-11:30pm shifts); Full-Time, Nights (7pm-7:30am shifts)
• Float Pool (Danville, Shamokin, Bloomsburg): Full-Time, Day/Night Rotation (7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am shifts)
