Job Title: Patient Care Technician - Neuroscience 9A2 (Med/Surg) - Nights (250001UB)

Description:

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including support for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patients and their significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This position is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) or a current Nursing Student seeking to gain additional experience in an acute care clinical setting while contributing to world-class patient care. The technician collaborates with nurses, providers, and other healthcare team members to support comprehensive patient care. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with TGH’s mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Nursing students: currently enrolled in a Nursing program (ASN or BSN) and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing (must submit unofficial transcript with application).
