Patient Care Technician - Naperville Emergency Department - Night Shift

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Patient Care Technician

Location: Naperville, IL; Edward Hospital

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Night Shift (7pm-7am), Rotating Holidays/Weekends

Required Travel: No

What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients, following established procedures.

What you will need:

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Preferred Certification: EMT-B Certification
• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course, or minimum six months of previous patient care experience, or completion of one nursing clinical rotation, or EMT-B course
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, ability to prioritize, and ability to follow directions.
