Position Overview

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs patient care tasks to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Preferred: EMT-B Certification
• Experience: Completion of an accredited nursing assistant course, or six months of patient care experience, or a nursing clinical rotation, or EMT-B course
• Additional: Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months if required
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, ability to prioritize, follow directions
