The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician for its Radiology department. This full-time position involves supporting the Diagnostic Radiology team, assisting with patient care, the setup of imaging procedures, and the maintenance of clinical environments to ensure optimal patient experiences while adhering to established protocols.
The University of Iowa Health Care department of Radiology is seeking a Patient Care Technician to, under direct supervision, assists the members of the Diagnostic Radiology Department in provision of efficient and safe patient care.Assists imaging technologists with diagnostic imaging studies in Radiology, the OR and ASC. Assists with the performance of a wide variety imaging procedures by participating in patient prep, patient transport and room turnover. Assists with moving imaging equipment throughout the hospital.
Position Responsibilities:
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2300-0700.
Location:Radiology
Rotations:No holiday rotation or weekends, no "on-call" duties.
Pay Grade: 5
