Responsibilities

1. Job Summary: Provides patient care tasks based on growth and development principles across the lifespan of patients in the unit. Assists, observes, reports patient changes to licensed caregivers, and maintains accurate medical records. Provides and collaborates on direct patient care under supervision, including personal care, vital signs, activity of daily living, ambulation, and implementing parts of the care plan.
2. Addresses questions or concerns from patients, families, or healthcare team members.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Experience: Completion of Block 1 in Nursing, or Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Behavioral Health Technician, or current HonorHealth employee with 6 months of experience.
3. Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
