Unit Description:
The Medical Surgical Unit is a 23 bed unit located on the 5th floor Unit 5100 of the Midtown Campus. The unit cares for patients from 18 years of age through geriatric with medical surgical diagnosis that may or may not require remote telemetry monitoring. Scope of care will include medical surgical patients with complication due to pneumonia, COPD & asthma exacerbations, heart failure, and viral/bacterial infections. Our wide-range of diagnosis make this unit a great place to learn.
