Position Overview

Location: Southfield
Shift: 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday

Performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient movement and positioning.
• Supports patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Documents patient information accurately.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in patient rooms and medical equipment.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Preferred: Nurse Aide credential from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry or equivalent.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience.
