Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week (6:45 pm - 7:15 am)

Location: 1500 SW 1st Ave, Ocala, Florida 34471

The role you’ll contribute:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, perform patient care tasks, and maintain a safe and clean environment. Complete tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Board of Nursing.

• Perform patient care tasks safely and competently, adhering to standards of care.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement PCT care based on individual patient needs.
• Coordinate care with RNs and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Recognize changes in patient status and report immediately to RN/LPN.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation reflecting care provided.

Qualifications

The skills and experiences needed to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Entry Level.
• Maintain current Florida certification and PCT educational requirements.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or proof of competency required upon hire.
• Employment may begin before completing BLS if the facility can facilitate successful completion prior to patient contact, via web-based training or instructor-led training.
• Florida Department of Health (DOH) License required.
