Position Summary

Do you have a penchant for organizing, collaborating, smiling, and having fun? We are a medical stabilization unit located in a prominent Dallas hospital. Our team provides support and medical care to those patients undergoing alcohol and drug withdrawals, among other medical complications. We are looking for a rock star patient care tech that can help be the eyes, ears, and face of the unit!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting and supporting the nursing department in administrative responsibilities.
  • Observation rounding on patients.
  • Performing admission screenings.
  • Searching new intakes.
  • Answering phones.
  • Greeting patients and their care team.
  • Organizing records and patients.
  • Keeping logs of activities.
  • You will also work closely with nursing leadership to maintain communication platforms.
  • Contribute to culture initiatives.
  • Spend time working with patients and providers.
  • Help make sure the unit flows in a safe, smooth, and positive way.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communication and a positive and high energy demeanor are paramount for the success in this role.
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) - Lancaster, TX 75146.

Education & Experience

Healthcare or medical experience: 2 years (Required).
