Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. in Boston is seeking an entry-level nursing support role on the 32-bed intermediate-care cardiac unit (Klarman 8).
The role focuses on advanced heart failure therapies and caring for patients with decompensated heart failure, complex arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, and post-procedure care. You will collaborate with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care, develop care plans, and maintain competencies under supervision.

The 32-bed intermediate-care cardiac unit on Klarman 8 has a primary focus on advanced heart failure therapies. The patient population consists of decompensated heart failure, complex arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, and post-procedural patients, including structural heart procedures, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), electrophysiology procedures, etc. In addition, Klarman 8 is the designated inpatient unit for patients requiring advanced modalities such as inotropic medications, left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), pulmonary artery catheters, and pericardial drains.
Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care.

$20.50 - $27.59 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
