Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and relevant certifications required.
  • Must be enrolled in a nursing program or have relevant certifications.

Job description

Job Overview:

The Clinical Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient's condition. In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
  • Enrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalent

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Days, 7a-3p
  • Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
  • Per-Diem
  • Mandatory Orientation

Pay Range:

$20.00 to $25.00 Hourly Rate
