Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) II performs patient care activities, including but not limited to identifying and responding to abnormal findings, appropriately escalating changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse, and activities of daily living (ADL’s). The PCT II provides assistance with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and progress activity and practices patient and family centered care. This role typically reports to the Unit Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: None
Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association within 90 days of employment.
