Job Description
FULL TIME
11:00a-11:30p & 7:00a-7:30p
Under the supervision of nursing staff, provides direct patient care including vital signs, dressing checks, assistance with activities of daily living, blood draws, and specimen collection. Observes patient status, communicates needs, and collaborates with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing testing and managing patient care based on findings.
  • Documenting activities of daily living and vital signs.
  • Assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Ensuring patient safety and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
  • Providing post-mortem care and wound care as delegated.
  • Performing blood glucose monitoring, venipuncture, nasal swabs, and IV placement.
  • Operating EKG machines and assisting with enteral feeding and respiratory therapies.
  • Supporting patient comfort, safety, and flow of care.
  • Participating in patient rounding and responding to alarms.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maryland CNA or GNA certification
- 1+ year experience preferred
- BLS certification required

Additional Information
