Patient Care Technician II - Emergency Department - Full Time - Nights

Under the direction of a charge nurse, the Patient Care Technician II assists the nursing staff in the provision of basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Respond to patient call lights promptly
  • Provide status reports of patients to appropriate personnel
  • Complete documentation on the unit in a timely, comprehensive, and concise manner to ensure accurate information
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene
  • Support activities of daily living and mobility
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Perform other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Completion of a Phlebotomy Course
