UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks a weekend-focused Patient Care Technician to join a busy psychiatric/medical unit. You will function under licensed supervision, assisting with patient care and contributing to a therapeutic, rehabilitative milieu.
The role requires a CNA certification (MBON) and AHA CPR, with at least one year of PCT experience or equivalent nursing education. Expect rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
We are looking for someone who prefers to work weekends. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; some dayshift (8am to 8:30pm) and some nightshift (8pm to 8:30am). Three shifts a week (36 hours) / 72 hours per pay period.

Under direct supervision of a licensed professional staff performs delegated medical and mental health care practices to patients with diverse psychiatric/medical and substance abuse disorders. The mental health associate participates as a multi-disciplinary team member of the nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic and rehabilitative milieu environment.
