Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician - ICU for the Highland Park, IL area. The role is full-time with a night shift from 7pm to 7:30am and rotating weekends, under RN supervision to deliver direct patient care.

Candidates should have CNA training or nursing clinical rotation, current BLS, and about 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience. The position offers premium pay and comprehensive benefits across a large healthcare system.

Responsabilités

• Deliver patient care under RN supervision

• Support unit operations and safety to enhance patient experience

Position Highlights

• Position: Patient Care Technician - ICU
• Location: Highland Park, IL
• Full time, 36 hours/week
• Hours: 7pm-7:30am (Night shift), Rotating weekends
• Required Travel: No

What You Will Do

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse
• Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
• Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What You Will Need

• Education: Eligible to work in the U.S., and completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (C.N.A.) training course preferred, or completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical preferred
• Certification: Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service preferred and/or prior nursing assistant experience preferred
