Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PRN) to support the nursing team in caring for hospitalized patients. The role includes assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, linen changes, and transport to tests under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant course preferred.
• Licensed/Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; BLS Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing team with patient care activities and related services.
• Cares for personal needs, comfort and safety of patients (hygiene, dressing, walking).
• Change bed linens and assist with patient transportation to tests and procedures.
• Serve food trays and provide between-meal nourishment; record vitals under supervision.

Formation

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

BLS Certification required
