Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs and other patient data and reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, and general patient comfort.
• Assists with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collects urine/stool samples and performs blood glucose monitoring, documenting results.
• Communicates patient information to the care team and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains infection control practices and uses PPE appropriately.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and risk management reporting.
• May monitor patients continuously as required.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
