Job summary

Longview Continue Care Hospital in Longview, Texas is seeking a dedicated PCT/CNA to join our compassionate care team. You will provide hands‑on patient support in a 32‑bed LTACH, delivering daily assistance with activities of daily living.

Daily duties include monitoring vital signs, helping with mobility and transfers, applying basic wound care under nurse direction, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a PCT or CNA.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers (beds to chairs, walking).
• Provide basic medical care under nurses' direction.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.

Job description

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Helping with mobility and transferring patients from beds to chairs or assisting with walking.
• Providing basic medical care, such as changing dressings, applying creams, or assisting with medications under the direction of nurses.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications
