Baystate Health seeks a full-time Patient Care Technician for the Pediatric ICU in Springfield, MA. You will work nights (7pm-7:30am) with every third weekend and holiday, assisting with direct patient care under RN supervision and performing phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.

The role supports the regional PICU, a dedicated unit for infants to age 21, with advanced monitoring equipment and a family-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• PCT training or CNA training preferred with BLS CPR certification.
• High School diploma or GED required for levels II–IV.
• Three or more years of patient care experience for Level III/IV.
• BLS CPR certification through American Heart Association required.

Patients in the PICU are monitored by state-of-the-art heart and breathing equipment. All of the unit’s equipment is designed specifically for the needs of children.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**Baystate Health, Patient Care Technicians (PCT) play a hands-on role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care alongside our nursing team.
