Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 6 months.
• Completion of a 500/720-hour CMA course.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients up to 300 lbs.
• Standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours out of 8 hours.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred and good communication skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient and family care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
