What Are We Looking For?

NHUC is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. The PCT prepares patients for physician visits, shows patients to treatment areas, takes vital signs, and documents reasons for visits. The PCT may also perform duties of a Patient Service Representative (PSR) when interacting with patients.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality
• Computer skills and basic medical terminology
• Current CPR certification and training in OSHA/HIPAA compliance
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work at different centers for staffing coverage
• Effective communication skills and proper telephone etiquette
• Professional and tactful manner
• Ability to embody our mission, vision, and values

Preferred qualifications include:

• One or more years of experience in a medical office setting
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferably Cerner)
