Patient Care Technician Float Staffing - Full Time 36 hrs./week - Nights - Warren

Patient Care Technician - Float Staffing- 36 Hours - Midnights

Eligible for Full-Time Benefits

Shift: Midnights 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, alternating weekend schedule

GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Aids with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
  • Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENCES REQUIRED:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENCES PREFERRED:

  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred. Any issuing authority accepted.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Med-Surg experience preferred.
