Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Float Pool on a per diem basis. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide basic patient care, assist with daily activities, and help ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities include taking vital signs, reporting observations, assisting with meals, collecting specimens, and supporting the care team with clinical tasks as trained.

If you are a caretaker at heart, consider joining the Beverly Hospital team as a Patient Care Technician under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide basic patient care activities in providing for the personal needs, comfort and safety of your patients.
The Patient Care Technician will provide basic care activities and provide personal needs, comfort and safety of your patient. The Patient Care Technician assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will be focus on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. The Patient Care Technician must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change.
CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire
Pay Range: $19.50 - $26.24
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
