Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kyle is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients with daily living activities and basic comfort measures under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to PAM Health policies, and compassionate, patient-focused care. A High School diploma and current BLS certification are preferred; prior hospital or rehab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The PCT is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Does not administer medications or therapy.
