Job Description - PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - Emergency Dept. - 36 HR FT Rotating Shifts (7pm-7am, every other weekend) - Jeanes Campus (252438)

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse.
  2. Implement components of the care plan, including procedures related to basic human needs, mental health, safety, comfort, activities of daily living, personal care, nutrition, fluid needs, and elimination.
  3. Measure vital signs, perform ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, blood glucose testing, and perform Unit Secretary, Patient Transport, and Environment of Care duties.
Qualifications
  1. Education:
    1. High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
    2. Completion of Nurses Aide, Medical Assistant Training, EMT training, or Nursing student with clinical experience (Required)
  2. Experience:
    1. 1 Year in a related patient care role (Preferred)
  3. License/Certifications:
    1. BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
