Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Night shift in the Emergency Department at Glenbrook Hospital. This full-time role (36 hours weekly) involves patient care duties, chart reading, and safe patient handling with PPE.

Prior CNA training or nursing rotations are preferred, and BLS certification must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth within Endeavor Health’s extensive network

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association); if not current, must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and daily activities.
• Read and record patient charts; monitor patient status.
• Use patient movement equipment for transfers in non-emergency situations.
• Assist with lifting up to 50 pounds during urgent events.
• Wear appropriate PPE including N95 mask or PAPR when required.
