Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the direction of the Registered Nurse, the employee performs duties supporting patient care, including direct and indirect activities essential for comprehensive care. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED, plus CNA or equivalent (e.g., Medical Assistant, CPCT, EMT, student nurse, or LPN).
Licensure: Valid CT CNA certification, EMT, or student nurse certification; BCLS certification required within one month of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Skills: Successful orientation completion, proficiency in English, positive engagement with patients and staff.
Physical Demands: Regular sitting, standing, walking, and handling, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision and auditory capabilities required. Moderate noise environment.
