Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity, delivers a variety of high-quality care and performs basic patient care tailored to the needs of assigned patients. Responsible for delivering quality care and service excellence, while adhering to the PH Standards of Behavior.
Must have a HS Diploma or GED. If the candidate is at least 17 years old but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, they must be actively working towards it and receive it within 2 years of hire.
Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire. CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification is preferred. If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a patient care setting is preferred but not required.
Must demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
