Job summary

Singing River Health System Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Nurse Technician to support patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The role focuses on fundamentals of nursing, personal care, and following a care plan while maintaining safety and compassionate communication with patients and families.

Must be enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing, with transcripts provided after each semester.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.
• Must provide transcript after each semester to Human Resources.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamentals of nursing care (personal and restorative) under RN supervision.
• Follow predefined plan of care and Singing River Health System procedures.
• Assist with daily tasks and patient comfort while ensuring safety and infection control.
