Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Patient Care Technician - Cardiac/Tele - Night Shift
Position Highlights:
  1. Sign on bonus: N/A
  2. Position: Patient Care Technician
  3. Location: Edward Hospital
  4. Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  5. Hours: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM), Rotating Holidays/Weekends
  6. Required Travel: No
What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients.

What you will need:
  • Education: N/A
  • Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
  • Additional: Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.
  • Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
