Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in the Denver metro area is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support registered nurses and assist with daily patient care tasks, including vital signs, mobility, and comfort. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and patient safety as part of our mission to improve lives.

You will work closely with RNs to monitor conditions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth care delivery in a fast-paced environment within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keeping patient areas clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
