Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool at Danbury Hospital. This role includes providing assistance with patient care activities under supervision, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and maintaining an orderly work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in a hospital environment is preferred but not required. Active CNA certification is preferred.

A competitive salary range of $20.50- $28.50 hourly is offered, alongside the chance to be part of the largest not-for-profit health system in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Minimum of zero to six months job-related experience.
• Active CNA certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical care to assigned patients.
• Implements nursing orders promptly.
• Ensures patient safety through preventative measures.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment.
• Works as a Safety Attendant/Patient Sitter.

Skills
