Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT)/CNA for the Critical Care Department. The 31-bed unit covers open heart, thoracic surgery, neurology, and more.

The role supports patient advocacy and teamwork, with shifts of 12 hours and a 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period). Qualified candidates have NA-C, BLS, and optionally WA MA-P; one year of health care experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (BLS) required.
• Washington State Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P) preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One year of recent health care experience with patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred.
• Computer familiarity preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.

Overlake Medical Center is currently seeking a Patient Care Technician/CNA for Critical Care Department.

Our Critical Care Department isa 31-bed unit with a variety of specialties including open heart/thoracic surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, pulmonary and general medical surgical. We encourage teamwork, patient advocacy and self-care. We are passionate regarding the care we provide. .9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period)

DAYS

12-Hour Shifts

Qualifications - PCT

• High school diploma preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience required.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (BLS) require.
• Washington State Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P) preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One-year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
