Job summary

Vitruvian Health seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver routine patient care with compassion in a hospital setting. Under supervision, you will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support clinical staff during procedures.

You will also maintain patient records, participate in performance improvement efforts, and contribute to a collaborative nursing environment. CNA or enrollment in nursing program highly preferred; BLS required after hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or GED.
• One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
• One-year patient care experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
• BLS certification required immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, high-quality patient care based on developmental and age-specific needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, feeding).
• Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IVs).
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures as needed.
• Maintain and update patient records and ensure effective communication within the unit.
