Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Tennessee is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision. The role supports the department with delegated patient care tasks according to the PCT's training and skills.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in acute care or nursing program, and a valid BLS certification. English proficiency is required to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in acute care or currently enrolled in Nursing Program, preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services in accordance with the PCT's skills/training and the needs of the department.
  • The PCT works under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN).

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in acute care setting or currently enrolled in Nursing Program, preferred.
  • Skills: Must be able to read and write English.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
