Job summary

Qualifications

• State of Florida Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• One year experience in nursing/related role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation of the unit and patient rooms for admissions, transfers, and post-operative patients.
• Uses proper body mechanics when positioning, lifting, turning and ambulating patients.
• Reports any changes observed in the patient condition to the LPN/RN in a timely manner.
• Assists with admission, transport, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Provides patient care as directed by licensed nurse, including enemas, baths, glucose monitoring, and simple dress changes.
