Patient Care Technician - Cardiology - 0.9 Part Time Nights - Henry Ford Warren Campus

Performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. Responsibilities include:

  • Aiding with movement and placement of patients
  • Assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living
  • Reporting findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
  • Documenting necessary records
  • Keeping patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintaining medical equipment

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Preferred: Nurse Aide credential from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry or equivalent.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience.

Previous healthcare experience in hospitals or long-term care is beneficial.
