Location: Evanston, IL | Part Time 24 hours/week | Hours: 1500-2330, including weekend rotation

Position Highlights

  • Hourly Pay Range: $17-$27.32, determined by experience and expertise
  • Upcoming pay adjustment: Starting May 2025, minimum hourly rate will be $18.84
  • Will float to all units throughout Evanston Hospital as needed

What You Will Do

  • Assist RN in delivering patient care on the Antepartum unit
  • Perform vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, catheter and IV removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose monitoring, feeding, patient admission/discharge prep, and other delegated tasks
  • Implement patient-specific care plans
  • Contribute to unit safety and quality patient experiences

What You Will Need

  • Preferred: Completion of CNA training or at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association); must obtain within 90 days if not current
  • Experience in inpatient PCT or maternal child health preferred
