Position: Patient Care Technician - Antepartum - Days

Position Highlights

• Hourly Pay Range: $17-$27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
• Endeavor Health is currently reviewing its compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be $18.84/hour starting with May 2025 paychecks.
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time: 32 hours/week
• Hours: 0700-1530, including weekend rotation
• Float: Will float to all units throughout Evanston Hospital as needed

What You Will Do

• Assist RN with patient care on the Antepartum unit
• Perform vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose monitoring, feeding, patient admissions and discharges, and other delegated tasks
• Implement patient-specific care plans
• Participate in activities essential to the unit's functioning
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experiences

What You Will Need

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course or at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing (preferred)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required within 90 days if not current)
• Inpatient PCT or maternal child health experience (preferred)
