Responsibilities
Job Summary

Provides patient care tasks based on growth and development principles across the lifespan. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregivers and maintains accurate medical records of care delivered.

Essential Functions
  • Provides and collaborates on direct patient care under supervision, including personal care, activities of daily living, vital signs, intake and output, ambulation, interventions, and parts of the care plan as directed.
  • Assists, observes, and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregivers, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Addresses questions or concerns from patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
Experience
  • Completion of Block 1 in Nursing, or Medical Assistant (MA), Nursing Assistant (NA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), or 6 months of recent healthcare experience - Required
  • 6 months of acute care experience - Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Preferred
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Preferred
