Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Acute Cardiac / Stroke/ Stepdown unit, day shift (7 AM – 7 PM) in Williamsburg, VA. The role provides patient care, supports activities of daily living, and performs vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG testing, and specimen collection under the direction of an RN.

Required HS Diploma or Equivalent with one of the listed certifications (CNA/NCMA/NCPCT etc.) and Basic Life Support.

Formación

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Successful completion of CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or related programs preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKG testing, and phlebotomy tasks as directed.
• Assist with IV removal and Foley catheter care under RN supervision.
