Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Third (Night) shift. You will support admission/discharge, perform vital signs, assist with bathing, ambulation, and daily patient needs under nurse supervision.

The role includes blood draws, Foley care, and collaborative teamwork with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. A high school diploma and applicable certifications are required, with CN A/NCMA/NCPCT or Sentara Care Partner training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Certification/licensure: CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or Sentara Care Partner graduation preferred
• Emergency/clinical experience via EMR/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic credentials welcome

The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.93 - $27.41 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
