Job Description - PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN-5S-Medical Surgical- 36HR Day Shift- Chestnut Hill Hospital (252373)
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. Incumbents perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort. The PCT observes patients and reports any changes in condition to the registered nurse. Responsibilities include performing skills such as phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
