Schedule: Full Time, 12 HR Day Shift, 7a-7p

Responsibilities:

1. Provides personal care and assists patients with ADLs.
2. Assists RNs & LPNs with patient care.
3. Performs and assists with procedures.
4. Assists in equipment/supply maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
3. Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred.
4. Phlebotomy and/or Medical Assistant experience preferred.
5. Graduate of PCT course strongly preferred.
6. Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification preferred.
7. General office skills and medical terminology preferred.

Working Conditions - ADA Information:

Works primarily in a hospital setting with moderate to fast pace. Requires moderate to frequent lifting (>50 lbs), bending, and extensive walking. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases is likely. Uses various office and medical equipment. Interacts daily with stressed individuals with complex needs. Physical capacity as per Saunders Method (very heavy).
