Job Description - PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN- 3A-Medical Surgical- 36HR Day Shift- Chestnut Hill Hospital (251288)

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. Incumbents perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient. The PCT performs observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse. The PCT performs specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).

BLS Certification - If hired for the Transitional Sub-Acute Unit (TSU) at Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital (RHRH)
