Job summary

AVEM Health Partners in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety and clean environment maintenance as part of a supportive nursing team.

The position requires CNA licensing in Oklahoma, BLS, and ideally one year of clinical experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Current Oklahoma CNA certification.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene, dressing, eating, continence, and transferring/mobility.
• Distribute drinking water and snacks to patients as applicable.
• Respond to call lights, anticipate needs and make rounds.
• Communicate clearly with nursing and medical staff.
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and ability to work under stress while maintaining patient safety.
• Document according to current standards and policies.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
