Join to apply for the Patient Care Technician role at Wolfe Eye Clinic.

We are currently looking to add a full-time Patient Care Technician at the Wolfe Surgery Center in West Des Moines.

The Patient Care Technician will be responsible for a variety of duties within the Surgery Center, including:

Responsibilities Include

• Clerical: Putting patient charts and discharge instruction packets together, disassembling charts after discharge, data entry, calling physicians’ offices for H&P information.
• Patient Care: Assisting patients to restrooms, obtaining vital signs or EKG, reporting results, helping with blood glucose levels, urine HCG, admissions/discharges, assisting with OR room setup and turnovers, transporting patients.
• Housekeeping: Stocking rooms, assisting with room turnovers, disinfecting equipment, changing wall suction containers, removing linen/trash from recovery rooms.

One year of medical experience is required. CNA, CMA, and EMTs are encouraged to apply.
