Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to train under an RN supervisor and learn direct patient care in a dialysis setting. You will learn hemodialysis procedures, monitor patient vital signs, document information, and assist with equipment preparation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (CA locations only) is required within 18 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Learn to perform hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and center policies.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs and document patient information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and maintain cleaning of equipment.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: One (1) year of medical experience preferred

Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

License/Certification

• Current CPR certification
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date
